Diarylureas as Antitumor Agents
نویسندگان
چکیده
The diarylurea is a scaffold of great importance in medicinal chemistry as it present numerous heterocyclic compounds with antithrombotic, antimalarial, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Some diarylureas, serine-threonine kinase or tyrosine inhibitors, were recently reported literature. first to come into the market an anticancer agent was sorafenib, followed by some others. In this review, we survey progress over past 10 years development new diarylureas agents.

Novel piperazinediones as antitumor agents.
Chemical modification of dipeptide mimetic azatyrosine led to a series of piperazinediones. Thirteen piperazinediones were synthesized and tested for their anticancer activity. This series of piperazinedione compounds exhibited potent anticancer activities against human disease-oriented cancer cell lines in NCI60 cancer screening (National Cancer Institute, USA). Among them, four leads (compoun...
متن کاملGenetically engineered superantigens as tolerable antitumor agents.
Superantigens (SAg) are a family of bacterial and viral proteins with strong immunostimulatory properties. SAg bound to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules activate a high frequency of T cells and represent the most potent known activators of T cells to date. To explore the use of SAg for T cell-based tumor therapy we have created a tumor-reactive SAg by engineering a fusi...
متن کاملDiarylureas and diarylamides with pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine scaffold as broad-spectrum anticancer agents.
A series of diarylureas and diarylamides possessing pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine scaffold was designed and synthesized. The in vitro antiproliferative activities of a selected group of the target compounds against NCI-60 cell line panel were tested and compared with Sorafenib and Imatinib as reference compounds. Most of the compounds showed strong and broad-spectrum antiproliferative activities. Co...
متن کاملUse of Volsurf approach for pharmacokinetic optimization of β-carboline derivatives as antitumor agents
The β-carboline derivatives are a large group of naturally-occurring and synthetic alkaloids which have awide spectrum of biological and pharmaceutical properties. The newly developed procedure called VolSurfhas been used to explore a significant correlation between the 3D molecular interaction fields (MIF) andphysicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties of a set of 30 β-carboline compounds a...
